Battle of Franklin tour of Civil War Fort Granger. The tour links to the Carter House, Carnton, Cotton Gin and Nashville tours.
Built in 1862-1863 atop Figuers Bluff on the Harpeth River on the Nashville Railroad, it encompasses about 275,000 square feet. It is named for Union Gen. Gordon Granger, and played a significant role in The Battle of Franklin in 1864.
